Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Although I no longer have my own studio, I now have access to a professional rented studio that allows me to continue delivering the same exceptional quality and experience my clients have come to expect. Whether in the studio or on location, I am committed to capturing timeless, high-end images that bring your vision to life.
Can I Bring Confetti or Glitter to My Session?
We love a celebration, but confetti and glitter are not allowed in rented studio spaces. However, we can digitally add confetti effects during editing to achieve the same celebratory look!
For outdoor or on-location shoots, you’re welcome to bring confetti or glitter, but you are responsible for cleaning up afterward.
Will My Images Be Edited?
Absolutely! We highlight your best features while keeping a natural look. Professional retouching is included to ensure your skin looks flawless while maintaining authenticity.
How Often Should I Update My Headshots?
We recommend updating your headshots annually to keep your professional image fresh and current. An outdated headshot can misrepresent you, so staying up to date is key.
Can You Come to My Office or Business for a Shoot?
Yes! We offer on-location business and corporate photography, including headshots, branding content, and team portraits. We also provide location scouting as an add-on service if needed.
Can You Photograph My Entire Team?
Of course! Whether you need individual team headshots or group portraits, we can create professional, cohesive imagery that reflects your company’s culture and brand.
Do You Offer Content Photography for Social Media & Marketing?
Yes! We specialize in branding and lifestyle photography to help businesses and entrepreneurs build a strong visual presence. Whether you need headshots, behind-the-scenes content, or product photography, we ensure high-quality images for your marketing needs.
Can I Bring a Guest to My Photoshoot?
Yes! If having a friend or family member helps you feel comfortable, they are welcome to join. However, if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must be present.
If you'd like your guest to be included in a few shots, let’s discuss your options during your consultation.
How Far in Advance Should I Book My Senior or Graduation Photos?
We recommend booking at least one month in advance, as weekends fill up quickly during peak seasons. Scheduling early ensures you get the perfect date for your session.
When Should I Schedule My Maternity Photoshoot?
Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy. If you’re expecting twins or multiples, we recommend booking around 29-30 weeks for the best results.
What is Your Deposit & Payment Policy?
To secure your session, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at booking. If a studio rental is needed, the studio fee must be paid in full upfront along with the retainer.
The remaining balance is due [insert payment deadline, e.g., 48 hours before the session or on the session day].
What Happens If I’m Late to My Session?
We understand that things happen! However, arriving late cuts into your session time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your session may be shortened.
If you are more than 30 minutes late, your session may be canceled without a refund.
To avoid losing session time, please plan to arrive early and be fully prepared.
Can I Change My Outfit During the Session?
For one-outfit packages, you must arrive wearing your outfit with hair and makeup fully done to maximize your session time.
For multi-outfit packages, outfit changes are allowed but will count toward your session time. Please plan accordingly and bring any necessary accessories or touch-up items.
How Many Final Images Will I Receive?
The number of final images depends on your package. After your session, you will receive a private gallery to select your favorite images for professional retouching.
Additional retouched images can be purchased separately.
Do You Offer Hair & Makeup Services?
We do not provide in-house hair and makeup services, but we can recommend trusted beauty professionals upon request. If you’re getting professional makeup done, please arrive fully ready to maximize your session time.
What Should I Wear for My Photoshoot?
We recommend wearing solid colors or neutral tones that complement your skin tone. Avoid busy patterns, neon colors, or large logos that can distract from your face.
